Main Menu Cheats
Type these cheats in on the main menu to activate them. Typing again will turn them off.
CheatcodeDescription of Affect
ARTILLERYAll your worms are stuck on the spot. They can turn left and right and aim up and down and they can't move, much like tank games such as Scorched Tanks and TANX.
BETONG ASNA
Typing this code changes the title screen grenade into the almighty concrete donkey!
CHIPRAM
Displays the amount of free chip RAM after loading WormsDC.
CHORLTON AND THE WHEELIES
Allows you to modify the Secret Weapons on the Weapons Option screens (Mail Strike, Nuke and Concrete Donkey)
GRAVITY
Turns off the gravity on the title screen grenade/object.
JAMIE AND HIS MAGIC TORCH
Allows you to modify the Special Weapons on the Weapons Option screens (Homing Pigeon, Mad Cows, Minigun, Baseball Bat etc.)
KARTONG APA
Monkey mode! All weapon names are in Andy Davidson's favourite language - Swedish!
LITTLE FLUFFY SHEEP
Every weapon crate detonated liberates a sheep, and when you collect a crate with Super Sheep in it gives you an unlimited number of the flying fellas!
MAGICAL MYSTERY TOUR
No names displayed. Ever. Fun...
MAGNET
The grenade/Donkey/ball on the title screen becomes magnetized to the pointer. Starts off as funny but gets irritating after a few minutes.
MUSIC
Turns off the title screen music - useful for preventing crashes on unpatched versions of the game.
NUTTER
All explosions have the destructive force of dynamite, reducing the power of weapons such as the Donkey and Holy Hand Grenade, but significantly increasing that of other weapons such as the Grenade, Uzi, etc..
OMNIPOTENT BLUE WORM
Your worms now have unlimited energy and can walk on water. But be warned! You may be about to walk on the water, but if you fall into the water because of an explosion and such, you will still drown!
PESTILENCE
When the worms die they burst into flames rather than simply exploding, leaving no gravestone.
PONG
Toggles the deflection of the grenade/object on the title screen.
RED BULL
Your worms can now jump higher.
SUPA SHOPPA
Instead of a scattered number of Landmines on the playfield, there's a scattered number of weapon crates.
TOTAL WORMAGE
Totally retro! Funky colours on the title, original names of all the weapons and the Total Wormage logo replaces the WormsDC logo on the status panel during play!
VERSION
Displays version number of WormsDC. This is displayed when the menu first appears if you are using a patched version of the game.
WEIRDED
Funky colours on the title. Automatically activated when you use the Total Wormage cheat.

Main Menu Hidden Messages
Typing these on the main menu will display a hidden message. Each code displays a different message. These messages don't actually effect the game, they were just added in for fun!

CAVERN
Only generate Cavern evels.
CUSTOM
Randomly flicks through levels in your TWCUSTOM drawer.
GRAFFITI

Typing in a landscape style, such as HELL, will only generate that level. As well as this, adding the word CAVERN (e.g. ARCTIC CAVERN) will only generate levels of that type in cavern style. Typing ALL enables all landscapes again.

Bugs
Like so many things in life, WormsDC wasn't quite finished when it was released. Here is a rundown of all of the bugs featured in the game. Most of these bugs are remedied by using the Patch Disk.

Ninja Rope Bug 1
When swinging on the rope, if you swing too much you end up all over the place. Pressing space, where ever you are, sends you flying off of the screen. Fixed with Patch.

Ninja Rope Bug 2
This has only occured a couple of times, but when you aim for something and you miss, there is a slim chance of hooking onto thin air. If you manage to do this, you instantly get flung about like the above bug, and there's no choice but to let go and die. Fixed with Patch.

Action Replay Bug 1
When using the Dynamite, Landmines, Ming Vases or Old Women, if you have a replay there is a 1 in 12 chance of the replay going wrong, i.e the explosion will cause a worm to fly at a different angle so that it didn't fall in the water when it actually did. A temporary fix is to disable the Auto-Replay. Possibly fixed with Patch (has not occured since I updated).

Acton Replay Bug 2
If after you lay dynamite, you press enter AFTER the explosion, the replay will show you jumping once after the stick was laid. Then the worm will stop. You can't control him and he won't budge. He's doomed. Possibly fixed with Patch (have been unable to recreate).

Saving Option Sets Bug 1
The Options Set saver may save your options, but upon loading WormsDC again it can't load them! Also if you try to load an options set after loading WormsDC crashes like nobody's business! Fixed with Patch.

Saving Option Sets Bug 2
If you try to load an options set with either the Amiga Ball logo or the Donkey replacing the Grenade on the titles, it instantly crashes.

Loading WormsDC from Workbench
Sometimes, if you load WormsDC from Workbench, the game will crash either at the title screen or during play. The title screen crash can be solved by typing MUSIC on the Main Menu to stop the music, which can help. But during play cannot be helped. Try loading from AmigaDOS. This is usually due to an insufficient amount of Memory available - even if you have more than 2MB of RAM WormsDC may not be able to access it all.

Amiga Version Videos
Most of these videos are either shots that I've managed to pull off that are quite amazing, or shots that I (or the computer) have completely and utterly messed up. They are in AVI format, but they are compressed with the VP6 Codec, available here.

Mad Cow Edition
WormsDC originally went under the development name of "Mad Cow Edition". The final name was chosen not long before the game went into duplication, and coincidentally shares its title with the Main Menu subtitle given to the first Worms Amiga game. Lawks!
